Her talk is drawn from her latest book Why Jane Austen? and focuses in part on Austen's novel Emma, and is entitled "Jane Austen and the Dawn of the Information Age." (This talk is especially of interest to those of you in Dr. King's "Jane Austen Today" class!) The event begins at 1:45 p.m. and will take place in the seminar room at the Institute for Writing Studies.
